Frequently Asked Questions

What do you sell?

On this site we sell just one product (in two strengths): EpiPen (epinephrine) Auto-Injector Syringe.

What is the difference between EpiCat and other places selling the EpiPen?

Our passion for what we do is only surpassed by your own passion for making sure your loved ones receive the medication they need.

We know this market very well, and have been servicing it since 2001. We offer competitive pricing in US Dollars, free tracked, express shipping via our trusted shipping partners, long expiry dates, discreet packaging and billing and a variety of popular payment options.

Is my information safe with you?
Yes. Our entire site is hosted on secure servers, served to you via SSL. Our site is built with security in mind, and we routinely check our site’s modules are up to date.

Under no circumstances will we give your personal information to third parties and we will not use it for marketing purposes. We never ever store your billing information and work with payment processing partners in whom we have full trust.

We use Australian company Pin Payments for online credit card transactions. Pin Payments provide a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet and are certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 (this is the highest, most stringent level of security!) If you want a bit more detail, please visit Pin’s website.

What is the active ingredient of EpiPen?

Epinephrine, also known as adrenaline.

Which EpiPen is suitable for my child?

Generally the regular “Adult” EpiPen is recommended for children weighing more than 66 pounds (30kg).

For children weighing between 33-66 pounds the “Junior” EpiPen is recommended.

I need my EpiPen tomorrow! Can you send it via Courier/Express/etc?

All orders are sent via Australia Post’s Express Post (EMS) service.

While it won’t arrive tomorrow, it should arrive within a couple of days. We are currently looking into Courier options, which can theoretically delivery anywhere in the US within 48-72 hours, but the cost is several times the cost of the product itself. Still, we understand that some people would gladly pay. We’re working on it.

We suggest placing your next order about two weeks before your current ones are due to expire (expired EpiPens can still be used, in a pinch! See the Mylan website for details). Two weeks gives enough time to take into account potential shipping/customs delays.

How long is the expiry on your EpiPens?

We don’t guarantee an expiry, but we process enough volume to ensure our stock has the longest expiry available.

The longest we have seen has been 15 months; at time of writing all our stock has 13-14 months. If the only stock we can get has less than 12 months expiry we will do our best to let you know in advance.

Where do you ship from?

Wingham, about four hours drive north of Sydney, Australia.

How can I track my order?

Log in and go to your Account dashboard. There is an option in there.

What does the parcel look like?

It’s discreet. We use generic mailers from the shipping company. No mention of “EpiPen” on the outside of the parcel.

What will appear on my credit card bill?

The name of our pharmacy. No mention of “EpiCat,” it’s perfectly discreet and mentions nothing of the nature of your purchase.

Why don't you accept payments by international bank transfer?

International bank transfer fees are too high and we can’t automate the process.
